right would like to share this why does every one think that learner drivers
are shit and will move out the way for them today i was on my lesson and i was driving round a slight bend and there was cars park on both sides one slightly further down than the other and as i came round another car tried to beat me through although i was already half way through so i had to swerve and ended up bouncing off the kurb which made me think that i ripped the wheel off oh well the driving instructor said he couldnt believe i missed him and said any other learner wouldve smashed straight into him but also had three others trying to get right up my arse and beat me round even though im doing 30 mph anyway rant over now did any one else have any close calls or accidents on there lessons?

I didn't, but was 10+ years ago, driving standards are so much poorer than then.
Only positive is it's good practice for when you pass, is crazy out there these days.
Some right arseholes about, were all a learner once, people should understand and be patient, just morons..

I try and be very considerate for learners, unless they are say driving at 20 in a 30 for ages, then I'll start moaning about the instructor (not the driver) and not making due progress etc.

You'll come across what happened today even when you you're not a learner, so don't worry about it. I drive HGV and get it everyday.

just seems i get it every time i have drove on the road before and when i never had a big plastic cone on the roof it was fine one bloke was wheel spinning behind me tryin to get me to move when i was waitning for the road to clear when trying to turn right at traffic lights (he was goin right aswell i werent just blockin the road ) so just shows some people try to intimidate you and you cant do nothing about it

i had a really scary moment while on a lesson, i was driving along about 25-30 mph, there was a car driving towards me with a trailer on. the car with the trailer on hit a pot hole, the trailer unhitched, it was tail heavy, the thing bounced towards me, i floored it, but my instructor slammed on the anchors the trailer hitch went through the drivers window narrowly missing my head and put a 12 inch gouge in the roof . i still don't know how that trailer hitch missed me, if the car had slowed down any quicker it would have hit my head.

i think most of the problems are the not the learners themselves but the morons who have a license and dont take any consideration for ANYONE on the roads.

Never had a close call in my test, but my brother passed 4th time, 2 of his fails were directly due to idiotic pedestrians and drivers too, glad i passed 8yrs ago, wouldnt like to learn these days far too many liabilities

there is this road where i live that goes from one in to two then round a bend. once round a bend the right hand lane is a dedicated lane for turning right. the amount of people that have cut me up in the right hand lane becuase they think i am using it as a fast lane to get in front of them is rediculous,

1 woman done it and i could see her chuckling to her self and thinking she was really clever for doing it, pissed me right off.

just got to get used to the idiots
