Rolling road tomorrow
Just need to work my avcr out then its off to art for a run or seven.
Gonna wind the boost up as far as i can go and im hoping for at least 420.
Its running TT T38
Ported head by me
BD14 inlet
STD exhaust cam
2wd exhaust manifold
4x4 inlet
7.2:1 cosworth pistons
865cc siemens injectors
044 pump
Mr stu chip
Did run it at 32 psi last monday and it felt very strong that was via bleed valve
So tomorrow some proper boost control and a fine adjustment of fueling should hopefully make some good power.
Now covered 350 miles and its seen boost from 2 miles.
Trying the brake it in hard aproach.

Best of luck with it fella, if you are running 2 bar plus I'd be surprised if you didn't see that.
Can you adjust the boost on an off the shelf chip? Surely it'll need live mapping or a custom chip to suit?

Pete would be well happy with that im sure
But going from his 1/4 mile times he ain't got that unless he turned the boost up. His car put on just .23mph more than mine over the last 1/8th and i only have 372bhp.

On a T38? I recon more like 440BHP and 360ish Lbs/ft, for some reason T38's make crap torque compared to a T34.

I can't see how the 4i is lighter than a saph, must only be a few kgs in it ?
I gave the last 1/8th because traction is not a issue, at the 1/8th we was only .07mph different. So it's all down to power for that last 1/8th.

right lads i did it on my locl tuners very realistic non "happy" rolling road and she made after a slight fueling tweak 384 at the wheels at 5900 rpm at 30 psi held.
now im gonna increase boost to 34 and deresrict exhaust as it has a silly restricivr middle section, we decided fuelling was good via stu chip but a live map would perfect it, with more boost and exhaust mod maybe 400 at wheels eh
im happy tho for what i have spent

Pete, that bloody graph is crap. I can't read a thing.
Mine made 316bhp @ wheels on a Dyno Dynamics RR with 372bhp flywheel figure, so with your 384 @ wheels that should be about 440bhp flywheel
What torque did it make ?
Turbo works well then
Steve.

Pete are you using std cam pulleys?if yes get a set of verniers and dial the cams in to perfection
on my old pinto efi i gained 28bhp for 1 mm of cam movement
The bd 14 i was told it would gain bhp but lose torque
