Default flamer kits.

has anyone made there own? any info on electronic schematics for controller / timer unit?

I wasnt aware there was a timer unit. thought u just turned it on and off via a switch.

i think that u have to have a timer unit that produces a regukar spark. if u use it without you only get a spark now and again.

oh yeah gareth, i made one that diagram if you remeber giving it to me?

anyway, it didnt switch, basically if i kept tapping the the gound on and off it the plug would spark, but not constantly once switched on.

unless my 555 was fukkerated???

oh, i remeber it also caught fire lol.

i was in college when i made it, not on the car btw

oh, and i also put a diode accross the outputs to the coil

oh yeah, 1 more thing, if you have a coil and a spark plug you can buy the "black box" from ebay for about £20

nova dry coil ht lead and a spark plug . run 2 wires from your coil in the engine bay . works every fukin time with absolutly no problems . (fitted one on my m8s saff 3 years ago and has worked without ill effects ever since ) by the way you need to put a switch in one of the wires from your coil or it wont do fuck all ..
