Default flamer kit not doing it thang

hi all, got the flamer kit where it has two earth connections its working as i can hear it make a very low wining noise, i cleaned the spark plug and gave it a go,no luck..

i switchd it on and touchd it and got a shock put it back in the exhaust and still no luck, i have used one earth conection out of the two

What car is it on?

You should be able to look up the exhaust and see the spark plug sparking and hear it buzzing. These seem to work best once the car and the zorts have been allowed to warm up.

My bro caught a spanner on the starter moter +ve terminal. He fookin jumped and had a dead arm for ages

yeah its a scc one apparently, but i never saw the plug sparking, its humming etc but no spark, the spak plug WAS very dirty and i cleand it up


its going on a sierra rs cosworth

Put your ear to the exhaust and get someone to switch it on

What size is the plug gap ?
Mate told me when i had the same problem to make the gap bigger
Now the gap is 2.9 m and it sparks and flames lol

I touched the terminal in the top of a dizzy cap on a mini! i had spasms on the floor and couldnt stop laughing but fuck it hurt after

Your exhaust probably isn`t earthed properly, you touching the electrode of the spark plug is what earthed it when it was out of the exhaust.

Make sure your spark is good in your exhaust

Then drive to about 5k and change gear / let off the gas and :
