£2500 for a remap
i was just out in the garden reading the sunday times 'power play' supplement about a bentley/rolls royce dealer in beverly hills, and one of their customers (graham edwards, a scot that used to play bass in go west, haircut 100 and adam & the ants) spent £15,000 customising his £75,000 bentley flying spur.
he spent £10k on a hifi install, fair enough. but spent £2,500 ($5000 presumably) 'on installing a performance chip to add another 40 to 60 horsepower'. christ on a bike - i am trying to do business in the wrong area. people around reading won't pay that much for an evolution chips remap i'm going to grab my laptop and fly out to monaco

Considering most ford owners will spend upwards of 10% of the value of their car on a remap (not including turbos, injectors, etc...) I reckon he's got a pretty good deal
(even if he got little bhp for his outlay)

no worries chip to be expected i suppose
tabetha - as chip says. although if you had been up snetty on thursday you would have thought that you were looking at god on a trackday - until the highside and no, stu has not sold his blackbird, the R6 was bought for the trackday as the 'bird was considered too big, heavy and expensive
