i'm nearly ready for painting. and was wondering what peoples ideas are as to what kind of paint to use. where to buy. i seen a place on the bay with good prices E-Buy-Paint-Equipment is the name. any help be great.oh its a shaff 2wd and back to the metal job............

you want some 2k paint m8, start with a good etch primer on bare metal some good primer and top coat.

white 2wd but not sure if i want to go diamond white more a nice white white if ya know what i mean. that place i mentioned seems to have all i want/need. anyone got any experience of them

if you paint it a briliant white it will look folse mate and as above use etch primer them primer put a dust coat of plack all over the primer them flat it using the guide coat to see where you have been then 1 verry light coat and folow up with 2 wet coats

you want a good 2 pack primer mate aply it in the same way as the top coat

cheers for the advice..... over here 2pak is banned and the fella in the paint shop Which i must admit would be one of the best here has become a knob over nite. i know i need etch and primer and top but no way am i giving this grin bag a ball of cash for just paint................ie good place to buy

i would recomend the place on ebay then mate because if you cant get 2k you will have to do base coat and clear and if you get any dirt before the laquer goes on your fucked cos its white

see thats the thing dont want to be using any of the water base stuff. is the paint they sell good stuff. only really want to do this the once.

not a clue mate but water based is good stuff just takes longer to dry if you have some where nice and clean to do it it should be fine
