Food - Cheap as chips
2 people, 2 course meal and proper ruined on beer and Vodka - Ł7

Summon a guide or a local taxi driver if you wanna get out and about, money talks with them, and it wont cost you much at all.

Travel insurance! When we went last year, one of our group got bronchial pneumonia, the xray cost hundreds.

Generally Bulgaria is still cheap, although it's on the up.

My missus is there right now. She said the food isnt great but the place is very cheap. I know she is in Sofia but dont know what hotel she is in (there with work). She went on a bus tour which she said was good. Shes back on Tuesday. Will ask her about it then.

Sound like the ideal person to ask then, anything we should watch out for? have you heard about the hotel?
