Why the hell are mclaren trying a 3 stopper ?

Surely on 2 stops with a long middle stint he would of been a contender to win

Bloody stupid and ferrari must be laughing there socks off !!!

you have to use hard and soft tyres
the maclarens are shit on the soft tyres so they decided to go out on 2 longer stints with the harder tyres the cars are better designed to use

it was obvious that kimi wasn't really fully attempting to catch lewis otherwise it might have been goodbye to all the points

yeh i know that but he said it wasnt maclarens fault? obviously it was as the rules havnt changed

they could have put him on a long middle stint which would mean minimal time on softs at the end

Did you watch the after race press conference ?

Hamilton admitted they were forced into 3 stops because bridgestone were worried about the tryes otherwise they would of done a 2 stopper and challenged for the win.

Thats how i worked that one out then
