Default A Question For All Drivers(have You Noticed)??

Have you ever noticed other drivers, mostly asians have a piece of rag tied to their rear toe eye.
Does anyone have a clue why they have it.I know a lot of people who have noticed this but don,t have a clue as to why.

I honestly thought it was where they've been towing someone & the knot had become too tight so they've had to cut the rope off! LOL!

According to my sister who works in insurance she said that they tie them around the toe eye for fraudulent (sp) claims.

Ie driver 1 in front gets rear ended by driver 2 on purpose, driver 1 was on his own but says a few more people were in the car, they then split the claim between them.

What an absolute crock of horse poo

It's a really old susperstitious myth & the reason some of them do it is because they believe it keeps bad luck away from the car

bit out of order isn't it. As she deals with claims for the RBS which covers tesco insurance etc, she knows the scams people have to make a quick quid.

i've heard the same too, but only with it being a red rag for the insurance. white rag is something to do with alan kayeder whoever he is black rag, not really sure. BUT if its for good luck why is it only on taxi's? thats more than coincidence.

i got this tied to my towing eye.

it gives me more traction, 20% more power across the rev range, and its also for hardcore terrorist and religious reasons.

its a special symbol that you get once you have killed at least 25 white people for no reason, and taken their jobs

hope this helps

it's a spuertition

to ward off evil spirits and stop them looking at your motor

sort of like a klingon bird of prey being cloaked and being invisable to everyone else

it's an indian thing rather than a sikh thing or a muslim thing or a hindu thing and lorry drivers do it more, but nearly everyone on the indian subcontinent puts them on their cars

Well, personally i'd be a little disappointed if i'd tied a bit of cloth on to bring me luck and the guy behind me thought it meant i wanted to be driven into for a fraudulent insurance claim...

and would you trust a complete stranger to deliberately crash into him after seeing this and then expect him not to have stitched you up ? you lose and he's laughing all the way to the small claims court.

I've heard that the rag represents the fact that they are gang members and belong to a certain Indian crew
