Since September,ive had to send my phone back for a new 1,3 times!!!!!! All the same problem,cant send txts!!!!

Had it AGAIN last week end!!! So had to put my sim back in a old phone to use..and its been fine!!!! (Samsung D500)..

Had ANOTHER N95 deliverd today,brand new,and AGAIN THE SAME FUCKIN PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: wall:

Ive updated the firmware,had the txts sent to me from o2 to set everything up.tried a master reset,EVERYTHING!!!! And STILL NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

Im at my fuckin Whits end with it now...

Any ideas anyone????

ive just upgraded to a samsung g800 was gonna get n95 but o2 warned me not to as so many had been returned seems they ve had alot of problems,samsung is great though!

 

chuck it in the bin,most of the N series are bollox,the phone cant handle the software.I had the same problem several times in the end took the phone back and told them to shove it and got a different one.Steer clear of the N series.

There are fucnking millions of people using N series phones without issue. The phone can well and truly handle the software - its the fucking users who cant handle the bloody phone thats the problem!

exactly. Mine rarely crashes as im running latest firmware. You need to expect slight hiccupps with it, due to being such a complex piece of kit, but mine only has 1 fault with it. The headphone port is intermittant. Which nothing to do with the software, and everything to do with the fact i volleyed the phone when i was bored one day

i bet everyone who has problems are running a network branded one. So the problem isnt nokia, its the twatty networks bodge jobbing their "personal touches" to the OS which ruins them

 

ive got a n81 8gb and cant call or receive calls jus makes a high pitch ringing sound and shuts down any1 had this problem

 

I was with 02 & they tried everything to talk me out of buying the n95, I got a contracrt from phones4u & got a unlocked one & the phone has never let me down once, I have tom tom on it & it is just an excellent phone. My wife has had a 850i, a samsung d900 & a sony z610 and all have been sh*** and have been sent back . I dont know what the problem is with the phone shops telling people the n95 is not a good phone.
I was in the phone shop the other day & apart from getting the 8gb model there is nothing that is better at the mo.

Just my opinion of course but this is the only phone in the last 4 years that has not crashed on me.

Yes there are millions of people using the N series without issue but there are probably also millions with issues,there musnt be a problem with them if O2 are tellin people not to buy them must there.Great phone sir just dont buy one.Oh and if yours has got a dictionary on it see if it can spell fucking rite before you post

 

Mine has been spot on. Had to replace several ear pieces due to filling them with metal swarf but it's been fine other than my own fault.

Never had the message problem. I've never known about it either and I know a few people with N95 phones.

 

my mate had this on his n 95 we solved it by re flashing it but not restoring your old saved settings as thats where the problem lies just restore contacts and nothing else

Mine did this the other day.

I uploaded everything on to Bluebook and then did a factory reset.

Problem was solved.

 

nokia software updater will do it even if it says its up to date re flash it anyway just make sure you back it up first

 

Agree, had nothing but bother with my N80...waste of fucking time. Fucked it off and got a basic nokia s a phone is just that...a PHONE!

 

My N80 got the lastest software Lee. It was as stable as any other phone I have ever had after the last update. After that, it was a really good phone. Could have just done with auto key lock.....

 

Just ordered my N95 8Gb for my latest upgrade - I hope its not gonna give me stress! LOL!

 

Got sick of mine Daz. I aint got time to keep sending my phone to be fixed etc. Like i say, ive got a nice simple Nokia now and its fine. After 2 months or so the features of the n80 were all exhausted and i used it as a basic phone anyway!

 

Ok.. have a new phone.... (loooooooong fuckin story)!!!!!!!!

NEO has hit the nail on the head.. I restored all the settings back in to the phone from the back up thing,and EXACTLEY the same problem!!!! i did a master reset,reinstalled just contacts,and now its working like a dream!!!!

Only pron i have now is,it wont let me update the fuckin firm ware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fair enough Lee. I parked mine up 12 months ago for an 8600 Luna and an N95 anyway..

Still keeping it as a spare...

 

Gave mine to me dad. He uses about 10 quid credit a year lmao

 

If you're on V21 then it's up to date.

Got my N95 8Gb today, and I love it already!!! Sooooo much quicker than my old N73ME. Love all the features - lets hope it stays that way! LOL!

as i have that installed too, and its fooking shite

as you cant set a destination with just a full postcode, unless i'm missing something.

tomtom is MUCH better and easier

only thing that is good with the garmin is the ability to use the internal GPS
