I have no experience with EA but my advice is DO NOT settle for second best for the sake of a few hundred miles!
I drove to London from Scotland to have my management system fitted.

Based on no personal experience, just entirely on posted threads
( so 100% accuracy is not guaranteed
)
But seen quite a few posts by unimpressed customers, many who had work carried out by other employees and not Paul Hills himself.
But every tuner has at least one critic, so try and go with the best rep' even if it means a few extra miles

Hence why im going to be making the trip up to Blackpool from Derby to see Stu
....see/hear bugger all said against him and MSD but many thumbs up's seen on here, so cant argue with that in an age when people are quite happy to moan when something aint right but seem forgetfull when alls perfect

Evenin' Ian,
fancy seeing you here
..
Not sure about the engine, think it was only about 10k's worth of nigh-on indestructable spec YB.. (Unless you run 50psi of course.....
)

I used MSD TWICE and the chips, they supplied TWICE, did not work TWICE.
I went to get the problem sorted at EA, with 100% success, now it runs perfect.
On a lighter note MSD did give me a full refund without hesitation, but a full mapping sessions was mentioned, even though it didn't need it at this level(stage three).
I can only say when I went, that PAUL, was confident the MSD chip was NOT to blame, until after exhausting all other avenues this was changed, the MASSIVE hole in the power band dissapeared before my eyes, despite all being set up according to the sheet supplied by MSD, I now run a EA chip, but going Emerlad ECU anyway as w/m is a load of crap compared with newer stuff, and on a cost/function basis it certainly is.
