I'm looking for a Tattooist in the Durham (ish) area that is good for cover ups, and also free hand work. But also want them to be good with shading.

I always got mine done by john coulter in chilton, but his shop closed down and i couldnt find him when i got my last one, so had to go elsewhere, but him i would defo recommened john if you can find him. Another one is kev turner's aka mc techno t if you ever listened to north east rave lol. he has a place in durham, few mates have had them done by him, and they were very happy, here's his site.

It just so happens mate a very good friend of mine is a tattooist and is shit hot. Im sure Ive told you this a while back. Giz a bell and we'll go down. He was Joe Grahams best mate and ran the shop up Hylton Road for him a lot and a kept it going after he died.

I got both my tattoo's done in Ferryhill, cant remember the guys name but hes good at it, hes on the front street in ferryhill market place.

cheers everyone, will have to have a dodge round a few of these places and see what they like.... Fi needs a cover up and i want some freehand stuff doing, we always went to skin deep at darlo in the past but there are so many new ones about we didn know where to go for the best...

He's still on the go now helen, he's 40 odd aswell lol. my best mate has a rave once a month, its been going for 10 years, and he mc's at that. i went down just before crimbo, very different from the dark and colo days.

u only live 2 mins from the place i use.............just pop in..... http://www.artfulink.com/ ...........(i used to use john at chilton but he became unreliable) the first time i went to artful ink they made more sense in 10 mins of chatting than any other place i've been to....i've sent loads of pals there and everybodies happy with the work

My friend Ama had a baby to Gary Rob who used to own the Colloseum. The last time I saw them was on the telly when they were on the Kenyan Confronts programme when they had gone off to Spain trying to avoid something in this country........

Wasn't good when I had to explain to my parents who had met them at Kai's Christening

Daz attack isnt about much now, occasionaly he does one, but him and jimmy g force have basically retired. there is rumours flying around about that daz is seeing a 16 year old lass at the minute

do not go to skin deep in darlo!!! yes they are ok artists but there attitude fucking stinks and they charge far to much just coz "they can"!!!! and there a bunch of druggies!

Fish in shildon shop called Incanktations is by far the best i have ever come across and i ve had my fair share of tats now (17) hes a sound guy excellent artist and he charges fair prices to which is always a bonus!!

Just worked with a guy that had "I am scarred" on his neck.. what is the point? if he had used the money for the tattoo for a good shrink in stead, maby he would`nt be so "scarred" an deffo would`nt look as stupid either..
