been sacked!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what the fuck?turn up for work this morning,bloke says "er...youre not in the book today!" so i try to find out whats up,why im not in etc....no one knows.i have to wait till 8 (6.30. i start work) to call the agency. now i left work with no problems yesterday,boss even unloaded my lorry in the yard and was chatting to me about the day etc...
apparently i had got loads of crates on my lorry that were full of crap and they dont like that,HOWEVER........the only reason i had them on my lorry was because the boss called me during the day and rerouted me to go fetch some empty crates from a peugeot dealer.they were full of small boxes,and although i knew that the management dont like this i knew that i could not finish my days works with large collections etc if i took them separately.so i took everything on board,finished all my deliveries,all my collections,got everything on board,got home late,no arguments,nothing.obviously the boss has had a hard day and decided AFTER i left that i should have helped unload the stuff from inside the boxes (NEVER been asked to do this) and has just told the agency to drop me!cunt!im fuming,off to the agencies at 9 to get another job!!!then back to get my stuff from the lorry later and give the boss some shit!

i once give a boss a good bat and threw him threw is computer in the office and walked out
and i dont regret it a bit because bosses sumtimes think they can do and say what they want cos you need the job and durnt do out

just be careful you dont do anything that they can call the old bil for!

but least they called me bout 6 at nite to say i wernt in next day pissed me off to the max but then i think its why companys get agencys in
never did work for them again despite the weekly calls

It works both ways really, agencies get loads of temps who just decide they don't want to go back to work the next day so leave with no notice, I guess employers do the same! I think a lot of employers that rely on agencies see the people they provide as disposable, seen it happen a few times.

when working for an agency it only takes one phonecall from an employer to drop you.
I work in I.T and i see it all the time (I'm permanent) we used COntractors from time to time, the company expects someone to come in off the street, recognise the system and setup and hit the ground running....well i'm afraid thats never going to happen, nobody can possibly know everything about I.T and a bespoke network - i've seen guys come in, do a days work and then they are dropped at the end of the day, only to turn up the next day to find out they shoudlnt be there, i feel quite sorry for them. would never use an agency for employment.

if he didn't call the agency and tell them then you've still got 8 hours worth of money due from them 
i know all about this as i ditch drivers left right and centre if they do something to piss me off
however, i do make sure that the agency know by at least 2 pm the day before so that at least they can find the driver another job for the following day
on the other hand, sometimes, a shit driver is all they've got so you have to take them for the days when you need them
