..just got GT5 and a motion sickness question

Default ..just got GT5 and a motion sickness question

...bit dissapointed to be honest although london looks great and the cars also,the other circuits dont look real to me ..i am running it at 1080p to....maybe 1080p shows the flaws?

...also it says i need to upgrade it...i do this and about half way thru an error occurs????

....as regards motion sickness anyone else suffer?....I just got some sea bands (accupresure) and after half hour no sickness as yet!!!!

Ignore the prompt to upgrade, and go into the main game. Then go into the GT TV menu, and try the upgrade from there.

tried and still failed...what is in the update billy?

you have to keep trying with the update, it's very frustrating but eventually it will work.

it took me about 12 goes!

- “High Speed Ring (normal/reverse)” has been added, for a total of 6 tracks, 12 layouts.

New Features
- Performance Points
- Quick Tune
- Real Time Adjustment (RA) feature (Compatible with Driving Force GT)

Event
- All event content have been updated.
- Number of events per class raised from 8 to a total of 10 each.
- Improvements have been made to the user interface

Driving Options
- “AI Level” added
- No. of Laps added
- “Driving line” added
- “Active Brakes” deleted
- “Active Steering” moved from Option (Can be adjusted in 3 levels, effective for wireless control pad as well).

Option
- Added No. of laps setting for “Arcade / 2 P“ (Infinite/2-00)
- Added “Units” (Distance, Power, Torque)
- Added “Demo” (Auto demo start interval, demo duration, demo content settings)
- Added real time adjustment feature related items in “Change Button Assignments”
- Added “Temperature” display settings under “Network”
- Added “Delete Course Records”(offline) under “Utilities”

Online
- Added Free Run (practice run mode) in race events
- Changed so that the host is not always in the 1st place grid position in online race events

- Tyre selection in Arcade fixed to S2

- Key assignments will be reset by the update.
- Ranking will be reset by the update.
- 1,540MB or more HDD space is required for the update

Mine refused to do the update via wireless, I had to stick a ethernet lead in......

Mine updated on first go...must have been really lucky although it took ages...

I use to get motion sickness with certain games..if there is a motion blurr type setting turn it off... always works for me

i get motion sickness on shooting games like cod4, battlefield, but never on a racing sim.
