Recently moved into a new house and got bt in, now am i in a contract with them etc? or can i change to say sky etc ??

if its internet, its 12mths or 18mths, their customer service is shit no word of a lie, i havent been so disgusted ever than at the moment, BT are rubbish

 

I spoke to some dude called abdul or something yesterday and in the end i had to spell everything out for him !! to say i was raging is a understatment, uk based call centres ??? yeah but at least get people who dont call me Mr robert ???? whats that all about , c`mon man thats my first name pal !!

BT is a joke it took them 8 yes 8 months just to set up an line at my address

 

Ooooo rab I could have told you about my problems with BT the other day, and it would have been exactly that...ALL DAY

I think that's you in a minimum 12 month contract now but as said, I think SKY uses a BT line so you can at least switch your broadband..

if you enter a contract with them for broadband you cant leave it until its time is up.

unless of course they aint providing you with the service they should be ( like they werent with us )

then you can cancel it, kick up a fuss, get a refund on your last bill and leave

 

You still have to pay BT for your line rental which is about Ł10 a month. Although we had a letter from Sky the other day to say you can pay for your line rental through them instead of BT so it's just the one bill. Either way you still have to pay line rental.

bts new contracts are now 18 months for there internet connection not 12

mines always been fine 4.5 up to 5.5 for land line connection. i was going to update to sky but after there test via the line..internet speed was the same

so renewed my contract with bt
