depends on which bits won't fit

the front pipe won't fit as it's the wrong shape

the center section won't fit as it's too long

and the back box won't fit because it's a different shape

but someone might tell me differently and show me where it's fitted

Why. well cos i cant find many 2nd hand escort ones out there. found a 2wd saff and wondered if it would fit, as the escort cossie is basically a saff with plastic surgery.

would a 4x4 saff one fit then?

And before you ask and call me a tight bugger, the reason im looking for an exhaust is to preserve mine. my car is 100% original with 35k on the clock, and i want to take the exhaust off and tuck it away.

i dont want to fork out £250+ for a newbie, well simply because the running costs of the car are expensive enough. (i pay £160 insurance per month) and funds are tight anyway.

he's saying it because its true...you can bodge the 4x4 one up but it mounts differently to the escos and it really isnt worth the fuckabout welding stuff/cutting bits about...better off keeping an eye on ebay mate for a good second hander....they do come around quite regular.

arrgh thanks mate, the answer i wanted, it is possible but not worth the arse ache. thats cool. at least i wont waste my money on a saff item now.

yeh, saw a full magnex system go for £35 a few weeks back, but was bidding on a front splitter at the time, only had enough money for the splitter!
