s1 turbo temperature gauge sender

as above got my rebuilt s1 turbo engine back and the temperature gauge sender unit in the head was missing are they the same as the s2

Check part numbers at ford for a definite answer, but I can't see they would be any different as the clocks/gauges are the same make ?
