i like dog de bourdeux as well but the missus thinks they are too big, i like shar pei but my mate has one & its not even a year old & turned funny going for ppl ect , i know not all dogs are the same but british or old time bull dog would be my first choice..her name was Smelly Ellie
Absolutely fantastic breed! If i wasnt working full time i'd have another tomorrow without a doubt!
Very Loyal, trustworthy, slobbery but so so loving and fantastic with Kids!

She was a dude she really was! Soooo easy! never had to walk her on a lead, never had to tell her twice, she thought she was a lap dog and ALWAYS tried to sit on you!

Love the british bulldogs but as said they dohave a lot of problems, a mate of mine spent months looking into them, got one from a well respected breeder etc paid 2k, lasted 3 months ( heart attack i think) i also wanted one but opted for the american bulldog

My mate Steve who lives in Spain has two of those Dog de bordeux things and they are absolute beasts.. obviously he named one of them Hooch and the other is Loca... They are probably the only other dog I would consider but my house isnt big enough.
Ladyheather, I cant believe yours will sit there wearing a T shirt... firstly Tug wouldnt let me even get one on him and would go absolutely mad trying to rip it to shreads...

i love americans mum had this one
but because she got the english bulldog from me ,she had to give bigger,in the pic, to live with my little brother,awsome guard dog i mean who else would you trust with 2 motocross bikes,a jet ski and 2 quads unlocked!!! at the side of his kennel, he wieghs around 70 kilos!!!

Get a boston Terrier great intelligent dogs and not so many health probs and slightly cheaper.
