Anyone know much about Zectec engines, i have a Fiesta 1.25 MK4, from a cold start as soon as i take my foot off the accelerator cuts out.
I put the aircon on the other day and the rev counter when stationery was idling just under 1000 revs and was going down and back up to 1000 it didn't seem to happy.
Anyone have any ideals what could be the prob?

Either ISCV under the black plastic manifold on he front of the enigine needs cleaning or beneath that there is a black rubber breather pipe, this could be split, both would give the same symptoms you are seeing.

Hi all.
My issue is a little bit different but I think the root cause is the same
Every morning I need to wait about 5 mins (on idle), otherwise it stalls - it is very annoying....
I have changed the idle speed control valve, clean the throttle and also changed the throttle sensor but it did not cure the problem. It is possible to be the PCV valve?
Thanks, Emanuel
