Default electronic boost controller

as above im after a good boost controller for a fwd.

i want to turn boost down and gradually feed it in up rev range as its cumming on boost hard at the moment.

need one with features like the apexi avc,r.

what yous guys using?and your views plz.thanks in advance.

just get the apexi absolutely brilliant bit of kit! extremely clever and didnt miss a beat!

ye they are i used mine for a few months with set boost until i read the instructions properly and the gear/rpm boost is amazing especially if your fwd like i was!

hi mate.. how does the boost controller know what gear you are in?
wondered this since i saw someone in a 200sx with one.

its clever it learns after you boot it thru the gears it must see the drop in revs!

i have to agree the aprxi AVCR is a very good bit of kit, Especialy in controling boost on an RPM / Speed bassis..

you have to programe in the RPM verses Vehicle speed..

Very simple to do ... you just need a speed sensor input..

No, but its very straight forward to set that part up. You just drive in each car (not fast, just drive normally in each car) and press a button when the value shown settles down.

Other than that, it is one of the more complex controllers to set up, but is effective. Not great for high boost though (over 2 bar).

Turbosmart eboost 2 does the same and alot easier 2 use/set up imo
