when u turn the key.....it has power for a couple of secs(primes).....then when u go to start it it has power.................it's just the pump sometimes doesn't work.....but its getting power..............so how can it be the alarm...????

the car broke down the other week coming back from "the scotch corner meet".............no power at the pump...........the car/pump had been rewired to a relay in the boot.....after a bit pissing about decided that was the problem and changed it from a 30a to a 70a...........and the cars been fine every sinse...(2 weeks)............well its just done the cunt again.....the fuel pump dies...............waited about 45mins for it to start again........drove about 5 mile and it died again...................HEADS DONE IN WITH THIS CAR................i know if i take to an electricians the problem wont happen....................

Not being funny but you chose a tuner who as no concept of electrics let alone tuning engines......and you wonder why your car is always fucked.....get rid of the people that tune it and it will resolve this issue.

.........changed the fuel pump and it's been fine untill today...................(so another waste of money).........so i've changed the ECU to see if the pump earth is playing up........think its going to get trailered to grove cos other wise it will get burnt.......fuckn cossies

Do you still have the crash switch inline ?
If so, bypass it temporarily for a few days as these are known for being intermittent
as I found out on all of my 4 sapphires I had. !!!

poss cps breaking down loosing its signal?although my mate had this same fault on his cossie kept cutting out when hot and would not restart until it had cooled down,turned out that the dizzy unit was buggered!the bush was worn causing the shaft to move all over the place!may be worth a check?

not that loud mate and it would not hold the pressure on tickover.......sounded really bad and i was not the only person to say it did.....and one of the people was a tuner.....
