Anyone had any issues with theres?

Mine has just gone tits up. Disks dont read.

New replacement coming Tuesday from Sony.

 

Same problem here, Sony are CU**'s wouldn't even look at mine, in warranty period, was told probably let it get too hot or too dusty. Going to go to the shop and kick off so they send it back or swap.

 

No...the only problem i have is with it freezing sometimes whilst browsing the net.

Oh and sometimes i accidentally switch it off when the HDD light is flashing, and it beeps like mad

 

mine did exactly the same few months back and had to send it back but you dont get a brand new one just a refurbished one instead which i wasnt to happy about

remember to take the game out before you send it back

 

Guy I spoke to said it would be a new one.

If its not then I will be kicking off at Sony.

sounds like the ps3 is trying to compete with x box for unreliability lol

 

mate it wont be a new one, they have new covers all new pastic on them etc but they use yours to fix the problem and fit new covers etc and then yours gets sent out for the next person and so on. Thus you get a 60g

Quite common problem. mines been ok so far touch wood but amnow aiting for my laser to go

my mate did get offered a new 40g + cash back or the 60

 

Mine is a 4 month old 40gb version. If I get a 60gb then I will be quiet lol

Just went, was using it ok in the morning, go to play it in the afternoon and nothing.

why cant i get a 60g one i brought one ages ago now iv split with my missus she kept it i got the home cinema system now i want another there all 40g ??
