Default Rover 200 Starting problem

Hi all,
Obviously this is a Ford Forum but there seems to be so many people on here who are helpful with all sorts of different makes and models I thought I'd give it a go.

I have just bought myself a Rover 200 on a T plate which needed the clutch replacing. The car ran fine before taking the gearbox off.

Now that everything's back together the car fires but will not start. There is fuel and the spark is very good but the car just will not run.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers
Dave

The car turns over and fires but doesn't run. I'll double check the earth cables though.

No, I left the flywheel in position and just fitted a new clutch. I figured it would be something daft which I'm missing.
