When these things go wrong where can you get new used ones from apart from ebay or cossie breakers.

lancia use the same valve.....pj motorsport had a few brand new ones at 200 quid....

what oil? theres one common type you should NEVER use......

but twats like you wouldnt know which,or why......

are u talking about wd40.......cos there's been a thread on here,and people say thats what they use with no problems..........i used a dribble of engine oil......(if thats ok with u..??)

wd40 should never be used, because,as any intelligent person will tell you,it evaporates in a few hours,and leaves a grease like residue....making the valve sticky.

a thin oil is best.

and the best thing to clean them with is a solvent based cleaner like carb cleaner,as it evaporates away to nothing,



but its fact that 90% of so called iscv problems,are not directly related to the valve itself....people seem to think a surging idle is a iscv fault....but that normally means the valve is working perfectly well,rasing and lowering idle......its an engine setup fault more often

what about........olive oil (extra virgin)....thats pretty thin.......or maybe tea tree oil....thats thin as fuck.........
