FIRST thing I would do... Get Greg Rose to show you how to REALLY drive the car and help optimise its cornering ability. I know you guys know how to get the grunt you need all on your own though :mrgreen:
The car looks awesome. Always loved this car. and think you guys deserve to do well.
Trying to get Sean to enter one round in his Exige on high boost....

Thats right guys, Gary went off today. The track was very wet and the car was spinning all 4 wheels through third gear. He was in fourth when he lost it, so god only knows how fast it was.
I haven't seen the car, but from what I am told it's quite bad. Front and rear.
Front Carbon splitter, wing, bonnet etc, then rear quarter, boot, light etc, unsure what other damage there is.
He is in quite good spirits and is staying over to go the event tomorrow as a spectator.

Bad news Gary, really sad for you mate as i know how hard you have all worked for this, but please remember fellas, as long as your healthy it can always have been a lot worse. Money is hard to come by these days, but health cant be bought at all.

minor damage of the body will repair,,,,,, but throwing you back out, REAL whiplash ect will be different from a muscle sprain in the neck
my neighbour had a car bike crash years ago on hes old 125, he cant ride hes track bike long distance due the the back issues caused in hes crash, he never realised he had them either and never knew it would be permanant !

The car has come on alot since this.
After the off at Donington, the car got fully rebuilt and did further rounds at Time Attack, but not ever really with the commitment that was needed. We are no longer interested in that. However, the car has very much evolved.
I'll try and dig up some up to date pics and update the thread.
The issue's its had have been testing and a bit of a long story for right now, but I'll go into more detail later. Suffice to say the car is now run in on the new build and has already made 600bhp at 1.8bar on pump fuel, the turbo is a T04Z, which can happily run 2.5 bar. Close to 700bhp is possible on pump fuel, with a good gain on race fuel, if we choose to run it.
