APT - Time Attack - Update Pg 2, not good news.
This week I am mostly impressed with Chris' little addition by way of a remote positive battery terminal (as the battery is in the car), allowing easy jump-starting if required.

Yes, all Perspex and yes, they are mildly tinted.
Gary/Evo is, I'm not!! LOL.
Gary says that the new suspension is a transformation, as for what it's set to??
It is a VII, do you mean the headlights? Chris stripped them out and painted the inner part Black. The tail-lights are standard, but we are after a set of the black VIII rears, but they are like rocking horse shit.
Practice is tomorrow, competition is Sunday. He is playing with the big-boys (Pro class), so we don't expect to win or anything like that, but he is certainly looking forward to it.
There are more stickers coming in relation to the Devils Advocate sponsorship, they have the whole bonnet too, but I have not settled entirely on the design yet.
Thanks everyone for your words. There has certainly been many many many man-hours go into the preparation. Chris' attention to detail is meticulous, coupled with Gary's talent, they are a good team.

LOVING IT
all the best boys
Good luck
FIRST thing I would do... Get Greg Rose to show you how to REALLY drive the car and help optimise its cornering ability. I know you guys know how to get the grunt you need all on your own though
The car looks awesome. Always loved this car. and think you guys deserve to do well.
Trying to get Sean to enter one round in his Exige on high boost....

It's a good friend of Gary's that co-owns Devils Advocate now, so I guess the answer to that is 'yes'. LOL.
They are part of the new Tein Super Racing suspension. Separate Compression/Rebound adjustment, fine-threaded height adjustment, with separate pre-load adjustment, Mono-tube construction etc and as you can see, lots of adjustment on the top-mounts.
No, I'm stuck here at work today!! My choice to be fair, I can't get to all the rounds, but do plan on making it to Brands and Snetterton. Hoping to drag our arses to Central Day, so will be good to catch up with everyone there. Maybe Gary will come in the Evo?
Convince PF to let Gary onto their trackday would be a good start!!
It has a PPG Straight-Cut Dog 'box, but with an Ikeya Formula Sequential shifter, which basically converts a normal shift pattern to sequential. It also has an Exedy Carbon-R Triple Plate Clutch. Obviously the Dog box allows clutchless gearchanges and it also has a strain-gauge system fitted which retards ignition timing as soon as it senses the beginning of a shift, so you can actually change gear without using the clutch and at full-throttle.
I will pass that message on, LOL. But the car has cleaned us out!!
