Right i have got a gsxr1000 k6 and i happened to see ethis on the US ebay site,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...link:middle:us
it really got me thinking about getting one! I dont need to worry about the tax coming into the country as one of the guys i work with on the rig will just bring it to me. But surely this isnt as easy as a "plug and play".....
I would have thought that you would need to build it all set it up with a power comander etc and a good few hours on a dyno?
What do you think~?

Plug n play using fairly crude but effective fuel sys mods to get 200bhp+, but the kit is good for 350+ if you wanna do more mods.
Do it, lol. Something tells me you wont get bored of that perfoemance for a while. You may die tho, lol

make the bike virtualy unrideable. Great for top speed shit for anything else.
You'd spend all day either highsiding or lowsiding it.
Turbo's really dont go well on bike's unless it's a full on made to be monster.
Ie extended swingarm fatter tyre's
Supercharging is a better way as you have progressive throttle.

Not a good idea at all in my opinion. As said, it would make it unrideable. A K6 thou has more than enough power for the road, with many people saying thou's have too much as it is. The front end would be up all the time and i reckon you could actually ride a standard one 'quicker'.
Having said that, it would be 'fun' yes, but if you want to ride quick then i wouldnt bother mate. Leave it as it is or maybe add a PC3, filter and full system if you want that little bit extra.

im surprised no one has tried a centrifugal supercharger on a bike yet, nice linear power delivery, big trouble with turbo bikes is the huge torque spike over a small rev range..

normally superbike and PB, but not religeously, just when there is somthing interesting in... Looks like a nice kit/ powergain, no point in having 30000000BHP if it's tearing the back tyre to shreds or wheelieing constantly.

Turbo bike are great. I've owned/built a few.
Currently doing all the fab work for a mates bandit 12 turbo. Will be 250 bhp when finished on current spec.
They are not the best way to tune a bike for track use but for road riding the extra torque makes them great.
And of course it is good to know that absolutly nothing on the road will keep with you in a straight line.
I used to ride one of my turbo bikes to work and back all the time in the summer. Certainly blew the cobwebs away in the morning!
