Default Lets have a good post

...now as some may think i am a windup merchant....but not always and since my return and the ignoring of certain users i feel i have settled right down..hope you all feel this too.

So you got 50k to buy one car, would you buy a cossie/jap car and mod it to go mentally fast or would you buy an M5 or AMG or Ferrari etc etc etc...try to be honest...would you honestly choose to tune a car rather than buy a current hi tc monster production car which is reliable?

In no way a diss to reyland, yum, rod etc you have chosen the path you want but i can see you being a dying breed (no pun intended!)

Ł50k for me would be something like a Maserati Quattroporte, or an E55. Yeah they may depreciate like a stone but they are both a real tool comfortable and feckin' fast

I would like to think that i would buy a Cossie and tune it beyond belief but i think the honest thing i would do is go and buy some newer monster, an M5 maybe, a Monaro etc with still some money to tune with

Monaro would be my second choice, AWESOME car with much potential in the engine.
700bhp is only 10K to achieve reliabley.

If money wasn't an option, and I had 50k floating about, then something like this

I nice little Porka Turbo would be high on my list, but seriously I reckon top of the tree would be an Evo, probably a 6 with a LOT of tuning.

I like them that much!

I would have what's already parked in my garage, your price tag wouldn't buy a duplicate btw. For Ł50k you could buy two AMG's and do double bragging...

With 50k to spend on cars I would buy a 1936 Morris 8 & a 1933 Morris Minor this would set me back about 15k the rest I would give to Phil to try & get his life sorted out.

if i was spending 50k on a car i think id want something that was fast as standard, so i could get in it and drive it, and id expect for that sort of money to never have any problems, though i can also see why it would be good to spend 20k on an escos and 30k making it ridiculously fast

bit of a tough one that

Id have to go for a 99-00 shape Audi RS4 for about Ł20k and spend a bit modding it. Depending on how much is left to what else Id do.

If not, just keep it standard!
