We were pretty poor it has to be said, but the ref was completely awful.

I'm not gonna get too sidetracked with excuses because i don't think we were good enough on the day anyway, but it would have been a better game had the ref been both reasonable and consistent.

At first i was steaming with Mascherano, but watching the replay he's simply talking to the ref, not shouting, swearing or being confrontational at all, so to get booked for that i'm just completely peeved....the standard of ref's is really por worldwide imo.

The Torres booking was just the same, he got up and talked to the ref about the amount of fouls on him...and gets booked???

Pepe Reina threw two in, but to be fair he made some good saves too.

But when so many players fail turn up then there's only gonna be one result!

Babel was poor, Kuyt was never gonna do much against Evra...etc etc .

Gutted...but defo not gonna bite

Bud-weis, a few of us did say Bennett was a cock and i agree on the Torres moan yellow but i think he got Mascherano spot on. He did look relaxed when he ran over initially but i think it was the fact he had been shouting at the ref every time since the yellow every time he did anything, which was clearly shown. Both Alan Smith and tool Rednapp mentioned it. Gray left it out.

Fair play on not biting mate but i know it hurts.
