Air max 90's were the bollox. I worked in a sports shop back in 1990 (as a saturday thing!!) and we used to buy them as damaged stock for about Ł25.00 a pair!!!

I brought another (genuine) pair off the bay last year, and they still look ace to this day!

In fact ive got em on at work today!!! LOL

A friend of mine is a senior designer with Adidas she's designed some awesome trainers/footware, the latest being Adi/Stella Mccartney range, which will be released shortly.
Anyhow since we're on the subject of trainers I thought some of you may find these intersting. A few pics from one of the factories in China.

These are a re-release of the classic adidas equipment shoe.
There was a really small number produced and the number of each pair made appeared on the heel.. Limited edition.

Testing.

I was well into trainers and had all the usuals. There is one pair though that I cannot find a pic of anywhere if anyone can help?? They were Nike Air Max 90's but were a limited edition called Winters. They were white but with light blue trim.

always had Adidas. I never been into Nike, apart from Cortez but i only had one pair and reverted back to Adidas. On my Shoe rack at this minute i have 2 pairs of Adidas Chile 62's one pair brown and one pair cream, I have 4 pairs of Adidas Samba 2 blue and 2 black, I have 3 pairs of Adidas Stan smiths 1 and 2 and allstars, 2 pairs of Adidas Gazelle in black which i havent worn for about 2 years and a pair of K-Swiss in white which my mrs bought me, she thought i needed a change.....

I normally buy about 5-6 pairs of trainers a year and have a clear out every so often, a few month back i threw out 2 pairs of Adidas Torsion from about 94-95 fooking loved them trainers too.....

I remember my 1st pair of Nike Air Jordan 2's i think they were.... mainly grey with black, put me in hospital...

After returning home from the shops i ran to my mates to show him my cool new sneakers and on leaving his house i stepped out of his 2nd floor apartment onto the fire escape and my pre greased air jordans launched me down a flight of stairs.

Quality trainer though those were the days...

Look what im into now
