Default Retro trainers- reliving my childhood

When i was about 10, my dads fiancee had some really nice nike air huarache, and i was never allowed a pair ( hers were white pink and purple and i used to sneak into their room and try them on all the time )

Wellllll something reminded me of em a week or 2 back

just found a brand new set on ebay in my size

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nike-Air-Huara...QQcmdZViewItem

anyone remember them? I wanted them so badly i used to dream that theyd go in the sale in intersport so i could maybe get a set, it never happened though Found some really good reebok pumps too

might bid on the huaraches

Few ol' classics stand out for me........

Nike Vandal Supreme, back in the Breakdance days. And Black & Gold pair were the ones in the original Terminator film.........

Diadora " Bjorn Borg" golds were the daddies when I was at school. Were too pricy for me back then, and had to go on the theive down Oxford St to get mine.

Had all the colours in Adidas Gazelle years back, even the dodgy pastel colours

But for me the ultimate ol' skool is Nike Cortez..................

Nike's best selling runner for years and they just stopped 'em 2 years back

I used to have a set of LA gear light ups, and 4 days into ownership the L.E.D lights packed in, I was gutted. We took them back the shop and they wouldn't change them. I cried and cried for days, I was so gutted.

No Puma trainers were ever the must-have runners i.m.o

Adidas caps, Reebok Classics, Nike Cortez, Adidas Gazelle & Reebok workout all had their time.

Right now Adidas Y3's rock, and despite so many wearing 'em, can't have any of those K-Swiss

The Adidas ZX range was where it was at when I was a teen!
The ZX450's(bottom) are one of my all time favourites.
Im sure I paid Ł80(ish) for my ZX 800's. A lot of cash back in the day!

I remember going on holiday with the family to the States at the same time Max 180s came out.

Brought a pair back as they weren't out in the UK, and someone tried to mug me for them at a Tube station!

Had Reebok pumps, Hexalites, Torsions, Air Max 90s, BKs (good reminder above!) - now I stick to Addidas only.
