Has anyone on here just gone to the airport with there passport,,, and booked a cheap flight anywhere?? Want to go away next month for a week,,, fancy just turning up not knowing where i'm going...

How much have you paid for flights etc?? Or is it just best booking somewhere..

Never done that before....

But have booked very last minute on the net. I have used www.teletextholidays.co.uk and www.holidayhypermarket.co.uk

I would say holiday hypermarket is the better out of the two.

No idea on that one lol If in the case you can do that dont think i ever could, i get stressed in airports to start with, without the added stress of booking a holiday there too

yes you can but you can quite easily book stupidly cheap flights from your pc without all the will I wont I business at the airport!!

Have a look at ryaniar.com at the mo they are offering flights for 1p!!

I went to malaga in Jan for Ł20 return for 1 day! it was awesome :P

wouldnt recomend , turning up at the aiport, as for example, you could see a deal say in spain, get out there and find the weathers craper than here,

Best bet to check some prices out on the standard sites, teletext etc, short list a few places you like after checking rouugh weather outlooks, then wait a few days before.

3 years ago did this for december, booked 3 days before 96 quid each allocation on arival to teneriffe

it was ghreat mate I left the uk at 6.30 in the morning with a 2 hour flight landed in malaga at 8.30 (9.30 local) got my car straight away went to the beach all day walk in the sea 19 degree heat (it was 4 degrees in the uk at the time) couldn't complain!!

Me and the mrs went for Ł40 in total with taxes and everything it ended up costing us less to fly to spain thern it does to get a taxi home after a night out in manchester (and the plane is a return trip)

I only went for one day cos of the mrs - we could of gone for a week for the same price (flights wise)

deffo shop aroud anyways mate as there are deals to be had!!

me and a couple of mates use to book at travel agents say on a thursday and then leave sat morning

been everywhere and paid real silly money for it


cant beat it, booking up one day leaving couple of days later

where do the plans fly to from blackpool airports your first best bet aint it?

more of a shed than an airport tho, and they dont fly to stansted no more , sod getting a train fancied a trip to syndicate dam it.
