There usually is - what car is it?

But your fault, as its intermitant, sounds like a crud buildup around the sensor/reluctor ring.

I have this on my 4x4 sapphire it seems to come on when you go above 60 mph. But not all the time. Then you turn it off and back on again and the light stays off till you hit this speed again. I've checked all the sensors and there was a couple which were cracked where the bolt goes through. But i've been told it's not this.

I had this on my Escort Cos & it was a damaged pickup ring, If you remove the sensor you can see the toothed ring. Mine had some bent / damaged teeth.

To check the abs sensors disconnect them from the connector. Jack the car up and use a multi meter on the to terminals on the sensor. If you spin the wheels you will get a resistance change on the multi meter. The reading should go up and down as the teeth on the pick up ring go past the sensor. If there is no reading well the sensor is fooked.
