Default Cossie Phase Sensor

Does anyone know what the position of the phase sensor cam relative to the phase sensor in the dizzy should be when the engine is timed up for No1 piston @ TDC? The engine is all timed up correctly including the dizzy, but the phase sensor lug is nowhere near the sensor!

cheers in advance

pete

set piston to TDC and set the center of the rotor arm to align with the scribe in the Distributor body/cap mounting face and it cant possibly be wrong.

Cool

Sorted! It would appear that the engine has been flooding while I've been cranking it over.
Disconnected the fuel pump and it started first crack.
Can only presume I have sticky injectors or dodgy fuel pressure reg.(engine been stood for 3 years)

I just disconnected power to the fuel pump to stop the fuel rail pressurising and fuel getting past maybe a stuck open injector. It started straight away until it ran out of fuel pressure. Re-connected the pump and off she went.
