escos getting 1 more chance it seems
cant help myself....i totally and utterly lost interest.....
all bits up for sale as of right now - on the lookout for a works touringcar

i am giving the piece of shit 1 more chance.....martin is going to provide a bias pedal box with all required bits n bobs....once that is fitted the car should be complete.
IF.....and i am saying this again.....IF U SHIT CAR DECIDE TO PUT UP A FIGHT AGAIN OR NEED ANOTHER FEW THOUSAND QUIDS WORTH BITS, I WILL PUT U ON FIRE

i never ever used it. somehow its a build with no end in sight, everything ever put on this piece of shit was a pain in the ass......
just tired of throwing money at a sooked up escos whereas for the same amount i could get a gen rs200 or a touring car....

escosracer a genuine reply,with all your cool cars why o why would you want to build a escos is beyond me....as you say an RS200 for the same kinda cash..thats having the ultimate mate
From what I have seen it has the makings of a good car.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people spend SILLY money on these cars only to sell them without even using them properly.
Please can we have some cars with not so crazy builds that actually get driven more than 10 miles!

Well said..and i have been guilty of trying to have a big bhp cossie but realised it aint worth it...hopefully my saff will give me everything i want..its pointless trying to make a cossie better than my Merc its not gonna happen

Just read through your rebuild link. That is simply stunning, I really like it mate a credit to all invloved, real shame if you have to break it, but only you know your own circumstances. Is the car now complete??

i have spent the best part of 10k on my 2wd saph,took it on the quarter mile today and got pissed on by a renault 182.for the money i have spent and the money i would have to spend to beat that clio i could buy an rs500 and have nothing to prove.i dont have any engine mods at all so far.good luck with selling all your parts!

I do agree Micheal what you playing at , seriously get it finished atleast
all you have to do is finish it do a track day in it if your not happy then deside
mine will take ages to get finished but i will get it done and have abash in it

If you can afford to finnish it and you are this close, then I think it would be a shame not to at least drive it before making your mind up, its a very special car, but personally if given the choice between the money its worth, or the car, id take the money, mind you, difference is that i need the money, lol

as is always the way in these situations,it is your car and your money micheal.but i too believe that you should at least finish her and get her out on track for a bit to see if she surpasses your expectations.she has all the makings of a true track weapon.look at mike r's car and martins car.they both have access to "better"cars that are far more exoctic too btu they have truely awesome carsin the escorts.i have been in mikes btu not martins (yet) and i have to say it did amaze me that a lowly old frod could do so well.
finish it,track it decide and if its not what you expected break it
but the ball is in your court my friend and only you can decide not us
