Its better handling than a sierra would be with the same weight.

You would get your arse handed to you on a plate in any discipline you care to mention UNLESS your deristrict the beast and then I would not challenge you to top speed .

Michael, after speaking to you earlier i can fully appreciate your view and opinions.
although in some ways i feel its a shame to have got so close to completion and then throw in the towel when the car has had such a lot of enthusiasm and energy exerted on it by yourself/Greg/Harvey and Mike.

the final decision is obviously down to yourself and youve obviously had a lot of thoughts on this to come to your decision.

whatever you do decide to commit to just make sure its for the correct reasons

Trouble is with the internet it provides access to too many sweets for candy-aholics to look at, and so they end up chosing ALL of them .

Shame people are losing heart, as the cars would be on another level to what has been seen lately (Martin's car excepted) .
yo mike

the escort i am building at the min will be pretty standardish stuff except a few parts group a parts like bilstein suspention /engine mounts and top mounts ect diff mount /9" diff /and 2wd mt75 Mullit Dog box

the plan it to get it built on bits that you can pick up easy once it running then i can always add to it

ill put better parts on as i go along

to be honest if it takes a seriously long time to build a car people will normally lose interest

hopefully i should have the car running this time next yr (money is the problem not the parts with me)

Oh look an ex BTCC Mondeo touring car.

I raced against one of those last season, ok, the total distance was only 9km but my car didn't come second.

My cossie is 1100kg, had about 270 - 290 ps at the time. (in fact the engine was on its last legs, ask Harvey)

kenny.
