Years ago I was pulled doing 90 in a 40, got a producer.
Was by himself, and no means of recording my speed.
Was a nice chap too.
Fail to see this being any different, unless things have changed?

thats crap imo and experiance.i had a similar thing myself but was stoped by 2 officers.but again they hadnt got a video or anything tried to make up my speed by saying we were doing over 100 to catch you lets call it 80 i asked them how the fuck they worked it out so quick all in there head as they must be the fooking rainman lol
i fought it all the way even after my lawyer saying it wasnt worth it
and the judge finally threw it out on my 7th visit to court as they had no hard evidence against me.
think half the time the cock jockeys just make up a speed and think your gonna just take the fine on the chin or just plead guilty by letter as you will be to scared to go threw with al the court shit.

me and two others got pulled for doing in excess of 100mph by two coppers. when we spoke to our solicitor he said they have to follow you for 1/3 of a mile to calculate your speed. he said he would have no problem getting us off the speeding but the racing on a public highway is hard to fight so we admitted doing 100mph and they dropped the racing we got a 28day ban and Ł180 fine

fingers crossed for you maria.
i got pulled last week in my cossie, he said, "do you know why ive pulled you over sir?".
" no officer" came out but i could have replaced it with other choice words...i.e "i dont know sir, is it because your a first class ...............?"
turned out as i was only doing 50mph on the A12, i was driving sussipioiosly (spelling?) so ha pulled me to do a vehicle check. As i insure all my cars on my business Fleet policy, my insurance didnt show on their data base.
didnt help when i told him it was on business, when im standing there in my building clothes covered in plaster. "he said so this is you work vehicle then" sarcastic bugger!!
anyway it took him a further 20 mins to find out infact i was fully insured, taxed, mot'd, then he said "right off you go" like i was a naughty school boy who heed cliped on the ear, he didnt even say sorry for waisting nearly 45mins of my time.
anyway, thats irrelevant here, good luck maria.
I take it you have told your boss? Maby she/he can help with legal stuff, as you were in the company car at the time?? worth a try?

If I was stationary, and you went past at 60mph, I would have to set off and get to a speed of 80 ish+ mph to catch up with you within a reasonable time and distance, making his argument worthless.

More to the point, they need evidence to do you, his statement is basically worthless without a witness or video evidence, if he has neither then he may aswell just
