Default Puegeot 206

Mornin,my partner has a 1.4lx 206 petrol which has just recently started mis firing,there is no sign of head gasget and have changed the plugs and coil pack which thought was going to cure it and hasnt,just wondering if anyone any ideas???

I have just been told to check the injectors aswell amy other ideas anyone??

Change the air filter and carefully clean out the throttle housing around the butterfly

common problem on these are the injecters mainly 2,3 try swapping them over and c if the missfire chances bors
also check to c the colour difference on the plugs

it'll probably be either the coil pack if its the long one direct onto the plugs or possibley the crank sensor, we've had quite a few of these go recently

Hi guys this problem is still going on,wasnt the coil pack and plugs where fine,then found out it was the first injector so replaced that and now is the idle is terrible sounds like is missing and when rev sometimes stick at 2k revs,have been told to check the stepper motor any other ideas?????

Evening Guys still not on the road ha ha,have been told that another fault for this could be the engine coolant sensor anyone any ideas as have been also told that without the engine management system on then a diagnostic check is out of the question also?????

when my ex gf's 206 quiksilver done that as mentioned above it was the coilpack and 2 injectors which gave up the ghost,

try another coilpack from a car u know is working properly, if misfire goes you know the problem is that.
