hi people i have seen a 206 gti 51 reg for sale,i currentley have fiesta rs turbo that i dont want to use for work cos my job involves a lot ov miles a day and the fiesta is my pride and joy at the min as i have had all the engine and bodywork sorted on it costing me ££S i was wondering if any 1 had any advice or has had one ov these in the past. many thanx in advance cheers steve

I had one of these when I was 21. They're not massively fast, are quite thirsty, and the build quality is shoite.
Standard handling is a bit iffy though, mine was proper twitchy in the wet and I nearly binned it on a roundabout.
Buy a 306 GTI6 instead! (much quicker, cheaper to run, and handle better too.)

MY MUM AND DAD IN A MID LIFE CRISES RECENTLY BOUGHT A 2.0 206GTI
oops caps,
and it went well, nice interior, 16" wheels etc but as mentioned, id go for a 306 gti-6
they seem to be very good VFM at the moment.
