Default advice on pistons cosworth 4x4

whats best ? mahle,cosworth,wossner??

been adviced against mahle as not forged?

adviced to go with wossner but i've never heard of them are they good?

It depends on the exact pistons spec as to wether one will be better than the other....with engine spec/use in mind aswell.
Speak to whoever is gonna build your engine as to what they like to use.

i was told wossner was the best thats why i went with them instead of cosworth WRC ones. But have since been told they sound too cheap.

So i dont know mate.

i would be using mahle one or wrc cosworth one over wossners any day

Ask NASH about Woosner, he has now, I believe gone mahle.

Wössners are very good. BUt i think its just what your tuner says. And what you want. Wossner does only std CR.

Wossners are RUBBISH. I have heard of several (one of them being Nash) that have shrunk after very short mileage, sufficiently badly that you have permanent piston slap .

CP, JE, Mahle or Cosworth.

They were low-pressure cast last time I checked.


Wossner is cheap tat though. I still don't believe they're made in Germany. I've been quoted as little as £150/set if I buy 10 sets of a piston to my design (or one of the catalogue products).

They are VERY underated pistons the MAHLE ones, I would go with them.
MAHLE SC301M FORGED FORGED FORGED.
