Default Crackle Effect Coating

HI i am after getting some bits coated in black crackle effect

i have been told that christian and becky can do it but they havent answered my pm

i am after getting my chrome tanks,small turbo cam cover,swirl pot ect coated

do you know of anywhere who does it

DIY mate, if you take time to do good prep work it'll turn out fine.
Its available from halfrauds etc.

Christian, what stuff do you use and where's it from? Im after getting some to do some stuff for my engine bay also but cant find anywhere online?

The stuff I use is not the stuff you buy in a spray tin!!

Of the 2 finishes I have done for people, one is a wet-paint and the other is a power-coat. Both are highly durable and properly applied after the item is blasted and cleaned fully. Also, as they are painted by a pro, he will have applied just the right amount of paint as applying just a little too much can and will make a finish like this chip REALLY easily.

can u have your standard plastic tanks done christian , or do they have to be alloy ones

I'll prob have a go at it myself, I reckon I know a good way to apply it to get a good finish!....will just need to give it a go tho!

Only gonna do maybe: header tank, thermo housing, rocker cover...
