Default mint vauxhalls... anyone got one?

ive just seen that tidy GSI in the for sale section and it got me thinking...

nothing in particular relating to that car, but in vauxhall clubs (im sure they have them too? lol) do they have concours competitions with astra GSI's, lotus carltons, cavalier turbos etc blablabla???

ive never really seen a MINT astra GSI with proper low miles??? ive only seen one decent clean example of a classic vauxhall and it was an astra GTE!!! (which is still cool )

is it because they are all crap joking!!! or are they just rare

does anyone have a nice mk3 astra gsi 2.0 sfi minter tucked away

anyone have links to any vauxhall forums containing some tidy classics? no im not thinking of buying one just a fan of some older models!!!

thats what i was thinking whilst typing the original post

some nice motors posted up, well 1 or 2 of them not sure about the rest LOL kind of the response i expected!!!

that nova, one of the last shells and it was a saloon, i saw the front and though wow that actually looks pretty cool, then saw past the back door and it all starting going horribly wrong!!!

the stripped out astra with the turbo lump is awesome

cav and vectra are well nice though proper examples!!! just the sort of thing im on about except the vectra aint old enough lol
i remember seeing pics of the cav on here back when you had it

and nice astras! look pretty tidy

any more pics of the lotus carlton i really really love them apart from the price of them and their cunting running costs

cheers! Just need to pull my finger out and get the Wortech exhaust on there. It's way too quiet at the moment considering what's under the bonnet!

plenty of W reg fords do that, find a old shitty vauxhall that will do those miles and break down once

Tell me about it! Every time I look on the Wortech website I think, well If I have that, I think I should have that as well, and if I do all this, I might as well have the highest spec of everything, and if I have all that I'd better have the AP brakes, and if I have those I might as well have the suspension as well, and then I add all that up and it's quite a big bill!

Like any car, if you really want to, you can empty your wallet easily.

600bhp on standard internals is not to be sniffed at though!

Indeed not, and in a surprisingly very comfortable and refined car too tbh. The drivers seat is the comfiest I've ever sat in, especially on a long journey and road manners are good too. I was a bit sceptical at 1st, but I'd recommend one to anyone now. The rear seats are like 2 individual bucket seats as well. Room in the back is immense, it will seat 4 large adults in comfort... once they're in. They didn't exactly make it easy for them to get in and out the back. I've had a couple of people stuck in there before now, lol

And my wallet's always get emptied, no matter which car is getting the treatment

Most I've ever got is 23.9

Generally get somewhere between 20-21 with a mixture of driving

I's just pootling around town etc that really lowers it down to about 16-17

Of course, single-figures can be achieved pretty easily too, lol...

chip, nice cars mate, i like the interesting conversions, great idea with the nova, shame its actually a nova

the calibra is a bit of an outdated car now, good the engine makes up for it (and the rims ) thanks for posting the pics up

love the sierra thats great work youve done on that, saw it in the other thread and really really like it, cant pick anything wrong with it (from the pics ive seen)
is it the same car thats off the back of one of the ford magazines? if yes, even more great advertising for it, reckon you should get some sort of private plate for it to hide the A, and make it look better. thats the only thing that lets it down, but to be honest, it means nothing being a reshell (if thats what it is?) i still see it as a cossie, top job you've done there

Quite a few actually including my brothers old Mondeo V6 with 145k on the clocks and in 2 years hasn't cost a penny in repairs.
