i did debate about getting the new VE model when they first came out, but im still liking the VZ too much that i have already

well this nova blew me away only ever went in it onece but that was enough for me the lad who had it was lets say removed from reality.
it was fookin awsome but the driver was average and nearly killed us both so it was my one and only ride in it.
panelbeater can shed more light on it and he has a nice mk2 4wd turbo gte
he came to the derby meet in it and this is where i took the piccs, he was taking a few folk up the road in it then lol but i refused another trip as i valued my life twin turbo lol one in each end

I was thinking about this the other day actually. Of the few older Vauxhalls I see around locally we have 3 Astra GTE's (a white G reg, Grey H reg and Blue J reg) and all 3 are ROUGH looking. The J plate Cav SRi looks like a bag of nails and the ORANGE Astra GSi looks like somebody has puked all over it and is still...ROUGH.
Yet, there are plenty of extremely clean Saph Cossies/RS Turbos kicking about (plenty more clean ones than the Vauxhalls anyway!!)

Gotta love a 4x4 Astra mk3 GSI...been a few done now on MIG, i'm waiting for RC to make his RWD mk3 though ...
Shit chip, you remember that twin engined GSI? 2x 2l 8v turbo lumps i think it was, they were going to get switched for two LET's at some point but that was years ago!

ive just seen that tidy GSI in the for sale section and it got me thinking...
nothing in particular relating to that car, but in vauxhall clubs (im sure they have them too? lol) do they have concours competitions with astra GSI's, lotus carltons, cavalier turbos etc blablabla???
ive never really seen a MINT astra GSI with proper low miles??? ive only seen one decent clean example of a classic vauxhall and it was an astra GTE!!! (which is still cool

there are ALOT of VERY VERY clean vauxhalls out there !!!!
just because you dont go to vauxhall meets/ shows it dont mean they arnt there
love going in there to have a look around after stuffing my face
although half the time its shut have u ever seen the escos that is there sometimes?
