I use a Phillips one. Cant remember the number.

To be honest I still use the normal remotes as I just more familiar with them.

The all in ones that are programmable are useful if you have a sequence that you want to run from one button push.

The harmony is awesome for settign up one touch macros.

I push "Watch TV" and it turns on the freeview [I don't have sky], the TV and the surround with all the sound levels set in a specific way...

"Watch DVD" and it'll do the same [if switched off, if switched on already it'll just swap over] but with the different sound settings I prefer for DVDs.

"Play Games".... and a different settings for using the PS3.

Obviously, if I bothered to listen to music, I could change the setting again...

It's very cool and easy to use, plus you can set it all up on your PC, as it searches a database for whatever model TV, DVD etc you have.

I had a One For All thing before that I use in the bedroom now and it works OK. This one, but it doesn't have as many opportunities to mess about with sound etc., without setting up fiddly macros with the original remote. ALSO it makes a high pitched squeak noise when you touch it and the front lights up, plus for some reason if it goes anywhere near anything else electrical, it lights up
