just got some new ink today,put it in done an align thing.now i can't get it to print a saved image,it just wants to keep scanning ? got 10x15 photo paper and that wont bloody work either help before i launch it !

You haven't aligned them properly! Use the alignment page that prints and then scan this by pressing the scan button once, do it with the PC off.

i did that but the pc was on. hope it works if i turn everything off and on again.I.T crowd style

 

Does it keep printing alignment pages when you go to print?

just tried it now.it printed from my pics onto plain a4 paper twice then started scanning instead of printing again !! before that i did try 10x15 photo paper and it started to print about 10mm then stopped in the machine ? draws in the paper and then scans ,but nothing in the top scan tray ,i don't even touch the scan button? looked at the shit advice they give,but does not mention how you 'start' to do the relign thing.first time i've changed ink and get all this shit

 

You will have to select align print cartridges through the printer management software on the PC, there are alot of things in there you should be able to monitor the ink levels as well. "HP Toolbox"
