Well...seeing as 2wd cossie's run 15" rims anyway....i'd say you'd be fine.

yes mate.Had them on my s1,now got them on my fez. There was a massive difference between them and the standars rst items.look ia it this way,if they haul in a cossie they are gonna stop your motor as when its stripped out,it'll weigh almost half a cossie.get some grooved discs and some uprated pads and you'll be laughing

Have never driven one with standard brakes on - but the cossie ones are good for me.
We even put standard non-grooved/drilled cheapy cheap discs on temporarily to replace branded grooved items and they have been fine, even on track lol

the one to do is ST170 discs and mondeo mk3 / focus mk2 / mk1 st70 calipers.. min wheels 16 tohugh, breaking power is immense

its best to upgrade to a 3i/rst mastercylinder as your pedal may not feel so great with the the 1.3 one

2wd Cossie 4 pots will NOT fit under standard S2 wheels.

NO WAY

NOT EVER

No matter how much you grind out the back of the spokes/legs.

Thanks

Jake
PS- I tried it so I know.

Well if they can stop a 204bhp, 1200+ kg 4 door saloon, Id say you'd be OK

yer there 4x4 calipers and 2wd discs.

my mate had them under his 15" comps so hopefully they will go under 15" s2 alloys...

i didnt realy want to spend much to be honest as its like a budget build, but had the whole cossie front brake setup ready to fit for 60quid...realy cant grumble with that!

do i need to drill the hubs out to 12mm? he did but that was on a ka....

standard

Cossie 2WD discs and 4x4 Calipers.

fits fine with standard 15" RS Turbo alloys.

all you need is a few 1mm washers to space the calipers out.

yeh much better over standard brakes. but then i did upgrade the brake fluid, lines and pads all at the same time.

no drilling required. all you need is the washers and it just bolts up.

^the drilling the hub out will have been due to using the cheaper mondeo v6 carrier - same calipers but the mondeo carriers are on bigger bolts
