that there is a major fault with the side wall and you could of takin it back to the manufactors of the tyre and got a new one, providing they found what caused the issue

Exactly what i was thinking, you see alot of ''i had a blowout on the motorway, look, the sidewall came off'' its usually because at 70+ mph on th emotorway, you are travelling a fair distance before you can stop, so they are run flat!

lol, thats like saying as a rule of thumb once the tyre has been repaired you can only brake at 70% of what you normally would. Im sure braking from high speeds puts far more strain/pressure on any tyre than accelerating to the high speed does. Like has been said how is joe suppose to know that the v rated tyre on his new car has been repaired? Im sure it will become obvious that his wheel nuts were loose!

They are allowed to and do repair REMOULDED jumbo jet aircraft tyres, must be because it is unsafe ?
Tyres sealed with ULTRASEAL, having had nails screws etc removed, have been used extensively in testing and evaluation over 100mph, track days, the lot.
I have only ever had two tyre problems and they were GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 GSD3 both times, developing sidewall bulges.

Common, very soft sidewalls on them, very easy to inpact fracture! a mate tried running them on his road rally car, gripped very well but had about 2 -3 buldges in each by the end of 1 rally.

Guys...
You should know what goes on in the factory when they make the tyres, to rectify build faults you wouldn't be worrying about a decent plug repair..
