hi im after a wireless printer any make. needs to be good quality but mainly good priced cartridges as i know some can be very expensive. will probably be buying of ebay or something. what do you suggest? thanks in advance!
DONNOT buy that Lexmark one thats being offered cheaply atm. Lexmark are the work of the devil..... Go for Hp or Epson. Just googling quickly the hp 6980 looks fine.
Epson will be cheaper on carts though.
Hope that helped.

Unless you want to print photos, go for a colour laser - cheap as chips now. The prints are great for documents/ general pictures, but just won't print on glossy paper.
The problem I had with inkjet was that we never used it enough and carts were always drying up.
Any printer can be made wireless with a wireless print server. Also not too expensive now.

Agreed go for a colour lazer..... I have an epson c900 with a rj45 plugged into my router and all our laptops print from it...
Photos are pretty good IMHO... not perfect but I have printed a few a4 and had them framed and they look pretty damn good....
As said Avoid Lexmark, and Stick to... Epson or HP

There is another option you can go for. If you currently have a wireless router you can plug any printer with an ethernet port into it and that means any computer can print to it or if you want to set the printer in a different room than the router you can buy this adapter which plugs into the USB port on the printer. It costs £23 and means you can buy the exact printer you want to.

I had the Epson R300 printer and it was fantastic for photos, you could replace the cartridges individually to keep costs down and a full set (6) of non-genuine cartridges was £23. I was given a colour laser printer from work and the quality is not quite as good as the Epson, but it comes with free cartridges! This is the replacement printer for the Epson R300.
