Default which diff?

whats the best diff to get for a 2wd running between 550 and 600 brake without changing the rear beam to fit a jag unit? seen a gripper diff and a quaifeatb for good money, but which is the better option? cheers

what ratio are you after? the 4.4,s are the most common and cheapest....usually Ł1500-2k depending on use...2k should be as new if not new

nothing wrong witha gripper, it the strength of the standard 7.5"crownweel and pinion that will be a problem with the power you are going to run

if you are looking for a 3.6 or3.8 9" diff expect to pay quite a bit more....

to be honest why fuck about when you can get a jag diff AND a Zoo beam for a few near enough the same money? get on the blower to them mate and make the car handle at the same time as making your diff unbreakable
