Default Shipping (FRANCO)

I've just started a new venture with a couple of mates producing 600x600 modular light fittings for offices that I will need to ship to Dubai, does anyone know of any good company's (cheap ) to get them from the UK??

Any advice would be appreciated.

he does it for work, but thats what pays his wage, he cant bend rules or do cheap deals unless your asking him to put his job on the line to save you a few pennies.

but he may be able to point you in the right direction for cheap companies or a little bit of guidance as to keeping costs down etc.

Wrong commodity for me mate! Couldnt help you.
You'd be best off approching someone like Ariel Maritime or Fallows International and getting an LCL rate.

Exactly what I need, I wouldnt put someone in that position and needs to be all above board anyway.

Clearing agents in Dubai wouldnt be a problem mate, just google Gulf Agency Company (GAC).............

Its a good time to ship to UAE, its buzzing! Make sure you pack everything WELL (as insurance will be a pain!) but LCL quotes (Based on a cubic metre) rate is the way forward for you, unless you can produce enough to fill a 20'GP container!

Ps Make sure you get a quote for dubai terminal, as most only go as far as Jebal Ali (then sting you with an on carry charge!).

Any other info, gimmie a PM!

Thanks for the info mate, i'll pursue the routes you've advised and be in touch if you dont mind. I will be filling a 20ft or even 40ft container (non high top). It's a shame they are not done on weight as aposed to cubic/m rates as although the crates will be bulky they are relatively light

As I say feel free to PM and I'll send you over my work email!
